Christian Rütti is a bilingual Swiss citizen who was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Switzerland in 2001.

Before stepping into the role of principal at SIS Pfäffikon-Schwyz in August 2020, he was principal of a private school in Basel for two years. Prior to that, also in Basel, he was managing director and personnel manager of a language school for adults for several years. An additional 12 years of teaching experience before that, both in Switzerland and in South Africa, round off his professional experience within the field of education. Christian Rütti’s qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in education and a Swiss diploma in the field of personnel management.

His professional aim has always been to do everything possible to motivate and guide students and staff alike to achieve their full potential. He is a firm believer in encouraging students to nurture a healthy and balanced lifestyle and a positive attitude towards learning and life in general.

Christian Rütti is an avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast who loves to explore nature with his family throughout the seasons. He enjoys working and interacting with people from various cultures.

Marian Carigiet is a bilingual (Spanish-German) team leader who grew up in Switzerland and completed a Swiss education. In 2008, she successfully completed her bachelor's degree as a primary school teacher in Zug and expanded her qualifications in 2013 with a master's degree in special education at the University of Applied Sciences for Special Needs Education (HfH) in Zurich.

Her professional career has taken her into both the public and private education sectors. Particularly noteworthy is her experience as head of a private school, where she was not only responsible for school management, but also successfully set up and implemented the entire special education department. This wide-ranging expertise enables her to support the team and pupils at SIS Pfäffikon-Schwyz with great commitment and specialist knowledge.

Her professional goal is to create a learning and motivating environment in which both children and staff can develop and reach their full potential. She places great importance on providing each child with individualized support and creating a positive learning environment that contributes to personal and academic development.

In her free time, Marian Carigiet is a passionate traveler. Together with her family, she enjoys exploring foreign countries and cultures to broaden her horizons. Discovering new places and getting to know people from different cultures enriches her view of the world and inspires her in her everyday professional life.
